Duration: 1 Day (Full Flight Simulator / Virtual Engine Run Trainer)

Target Group: Licensed aircraft maintenance engineers (Cat B1/B2/C), Authorized maintenance personnel seeking Engine Ground Run (EGR) approval, Flight test or maintenance control engineers requiring operational knowledge of PW1500G engine start and run-up procedures

Objective: To provide theoretical and practical training required to perform engine ground runs on Airbus A220 aircraft equipped with PW1500G engines.

Mode: Online theory + Onsite practical (FFS or dedicated Engine Run Trainer)

The course ensures participants can safely conduct engine operations in accordance with Airbus AMP, maintenance task cards, and local regulatory requirements.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the course, participants will be able to:
Perform a safe and compliant engine ground run on the Airbus A220.
Identify and interpret all key engine parameters on EICAS.
Recognize abnormal indications and take appropriate corrective actions.
Apply Airbus AMP procedures and safety protocols during engine operation.

Delivery Options

Onsite (preferred): Practical training on certified FFS or dedicated Engine Run Trainer.
Online (theory only): Pre-study of AMM procedures, EICAS familiarization, and safety modules.
Hybrid: Online theoretical + Onsite simulator session.
